Why GrantVault exists

Consultants are too expensive. Directories don't work.

A grant consultant costs thousands per application. A directory hands you a list and leaves the hard part to you. GrantVault does the work in between: it reads your business, checks what you qualify for, and tells you honestly which grants are worth your time.

“Most small businesses never claim the funding they qualify for, because finding it costs more time than it looks like it's worth.”

Draft with specialized AI

The writing assistant drafts every section from your real business details, answering the funder’s own criteria point by point. It never invents a number about you: anything it does not know is left as a marked blank for you to fill in.

Worth-your-time verdicts

We tell you which grants to skip.

A priority score combines your eligibility strength, the award size, the work required, and how much time is left before the deadline. A perfect match you cannot finish in three days is not a real opportunity, and we rank it that way.

No wasted applications

If you can't win it, you never see it.

Plenty of programs quietly rule you out: nonprofits only, under 20 employees, certain states. We check those first, so nothing lands in your results that your business was never allowed to apply for.

See why you qualify

Every requirement is answered one at a time: you meet it, you probably meet it, or you need to check. Each one comes with the reason in plain English.

Drafts that sound like you

The writing assistant uses your real business details, your uploaded documents, and the funder’s own criteria, in the tone you pick.

Never miss a deadline

We recheck your saved grants every day. Dates update on their own and anything that closes is flagged before you waste time on it.

Questions business owners ask us

Does my business actually qualify for grants?

More often than owners expect. You do not have to be a nonprofit. Federal, state, and corporate programs fund for-profit businesses for research and development, hiring and training, equipment, energy upgrades, exporting, disaster recovery, and rural or main-street growth. Your first search tells you exactly which programs you fit and which ones you do not, in a few minutes, for free.

How much money are we talking about?

It depends entirely on the program. Small state and corporate grants tend to run from $5,000 to $50,000. Federal R&D awards such as SBIR Phase I are commonly $50,000 to $300,000, and Phase II can reach seven figures. GrantVault shows the published award range on every result so you can see the payoff before you spend a minute on the application.

Do I have to pay back a grant?

No. A grant is not a loan and it does not take equity in your company. You keep the money and your ownership. What you owe is the reporting the program requires, and you have to spend the funds on what you said you would.

Where do the grants come from?

Federal opportunities come straight from Grants.gov, the government’s own funding database. State, city, corporate, and foundation programs are found by searching the funders’ own announcements. Every opportunity we show you links to the real application page, so you always apply at the source and never through us.

How good is the AI at actually writing an application?

It writes the way a grant professional does: it reads the funder’s published criteria and answers them point by point, using your real business details, in the tone you choose. It will not invent revenue figures, headcount, or credentials. Anything it does not know is left as a clearly marked blank for you to fill in. Expect a strong first draft in minutes that you review, personalize, and submit, not a finished application you sign blind.

How much time does this take me?

Setup is about five minutes: tell us what your business does, where it is, how big it is, and what you need funding for. Searches finish while you wait. From there most of your time goes into reviewing a draft rather than hunting for programs and decoding whether you are eligible.

How is this different from hiring a grant writer?

A consultant typically charges $2,000 or more per application, and you pay again for the next one. GrantVault is a monthly plan starting at $24 that covers searching, scoring, and drafting, so looking into an opportunity costs you the time to read it and nothing more. Plenty of owners use both: GrantVault to find and shortlist the grants, then a consultant on the one application big enough to justify the fee.

What if I do not win?

Nobody wins every grant, which is why GrantVault tells you upfront which ones are worth your time. Each result is scored on how well you fit, how large the award is, how much work the application takes, and how long you have. When a program is a poor bet for your business, we say so instead of selling you the effort.

Is my business information kept private?

Yes. Your profile and documents are encrypted, used only to find and write your own grants, and never sold or shared. You can delete your account and everything in it at any time.

Can I try it before paying?

Yes, and no card is required. The free plan gives you one full search and two AI drafts every month, with complete results, and it resets each month.
